Mission

The BRIC’s mission is to create a community of business professionals, entrepreneurs and creatives that collaborate to push forward economic development in our community. Originally home to Kilbourn State Bank and eventually becoming North Milwaukee State Bank, the home of the first African American Bank in Milwaukee.

The BRIC team is comprised of energetic and experienced business leaders and entrepreneurs, who understand the value and importance of this co-working space in the heart of the central city of Milwaukee. Their backgrounds and expertise create a solid foundation for this innovative space and give BRIC the opportunity to develop and flourish.

The BRIC Building was founded by three small businesses – CMPD, Venus Consulting and AtVantage Business Consultants, which created the Commercial Corridors Consulting Consortium (C4 LLC). C4 recognized a need for innovative co-working space for emerging entrepreneurs, small businesses and economic development organizations. In 2017, The BRIC was rebranded and relaunched by a group of diverse small businesses: C4, Groundworks, Asset Builders, and LetsKeepBuilding Inc (LKB).

Become A Member

We have a beautiful coworking space and and an amazing community. BRIC Members are individuals that are looking to join a community of entrepreneurs, creatives and businesses professionals. As a member you will have access to space, programming, opportunities and member perks.

Become A Partner

BRIC is looking for partners, collaborators, and contributors/supporters to provide programming, consulting and pipelines for our members. This includes support from professional services, corporations, financial services relationships, banking, legal and accounting. As our members scale their businesses, we are looking for our partners to create opportunities and build relationships to support entrepreneurial growth and development along the way.
